There was a class, a group of people, much like us. The teacher would just walk around, talking, teaching, and the class would follow. While the teacher realize one day “I’m not getting through to my class, I am not breaking through and they’re not believing, they’re not understanding, they’re not going the extra mile”. So he took them to this place outside of their city and it’s a place where this incredible rock outcropping went up in a shear cliff-face. It was crumbly, it was impossible to go there, and nobody did. That place was called the edge, and everybody was afraid of it, because to go there meant you were flirting with your life. The teacher said “come with me to the edge”, and the teacher stood up and he started walking up the cliff-face. The class had no choice, you follow your teacher and he got them to the edge, the top of the cliff where beyond was so desperately far, and so dangerous, and so amazingly fearful that you couldn’t even look down. And he lined them up one by one along the edge to embrace that fear, and then he pushed them off the cliff..
And everyone of them flew.. Like A Bird.

Color Guard,
is something I love doing. When I first started, I thought I could never do things they usually do. I became more flexible, and so into color guard that I fell in love and became so passionate about it. I just absolutely love it. I feel like I’m still learning a lot, but I’ve progressed a lot and at this point, I’ve made it real far to the point I want to become a captain, and I’ll do whatever it takes to get my fellow guardies together and try to be the best there is.
